SIB Mili Sdn. Bhd. (SIB Mili), a subsidiary of Sapura Industrial Berhad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sarawak Skills Development Centre (Sarawak Skills) to strengthen Sarawak’s Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid ecosystem. SIB Mili is one of Malaysia’s emerging leaders in EV and Hybrid servicing solutions, EV training and certification, and EV battery recycle, refurbishment, and repurpose (3R).
The MoU aims to establish a dedicated EV and Hybrid Service Centre in Kuching, serving both as a hub for EV servicing and as a platform for technical training and workforce development. This initiative supports Sarawak’s ambition to accelerate EV adoption while equipping local talent with future-ready skills.

Under the MoU, SIB Mili will contribute its expertise in EV servicing, repair, and maintenance to complement Sarawak Skills’ proven strength in technical training. Together, the parties will develop accredited programmes, enhance Train-the-Trainer initiatives, and build a pipeline of certified technicians. The collaboration aims to expand servicing infrastructure and accelerate Sarawak’s transition towards sustainable mobility.
